The Zhiyun Smooth II is a handheld 3-axis gimbal that eliminates any shaky movements when using a smartphone to take videos. It pairs with a smartphone via Bluetooth and has an app which can be installed on Android and iOS devices allowing you to easily use the gimbal to take cinematic smooth quality videos on your smartphone.

Handheld 3-Axis Gimbal

The Zhiyun Smooth II is a gimbal which has a pan, tilt and roll axis motor to compensate for shakes and bumps. By removing any movement along the 3 axes it allows you to take ultra-smooth videos with your smartphone. This can be really useful when combined with a flagship mobile device like the iPhone 6s Plus or Samsung Galaxy S7 to create high quality 4K footage.

Wide range of Motion Available

With the gimbal you have 360° degrees of movement available with the pan motor, this is useful for taking panoramic shots with your smartphone as well as capturing smooth left to right pans. The gimbal boasts 270° tilt range and features 90° of roll movement to provide a wide range of motion. You can even use switch the roll axis of the Gimbal to shoot in vertical mode to allow you to shoot in portrait mode for selfies and bring more creativity to your videos and images.

Smartphone App

There is a smartphone app that is designed to be used with the gimbal and it is available for Android and iOS devices. Using the App you can calibrate the gimbal to fine-tune its balance, upgrade the firmware and control the modes and other settings when in operation.

Stepless Rotational Joystick

There is a stepless rotational joystick on the gimbal that allows you control your camera turning left and right along the pan axis, or up and down along the tilt axis. This makes it possible to capture smooth camera movements while at the same time compensating for vibration, unlocking massive cinematic potential with your portable mobile device.

3400mAh Rechargeable Battery

There is a 3400mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery that is included along with the Gimbal and it delivers up to 5 hours of power, easily enough time to shoot videos with your family while you’re on holiday or to help to capture that special moment free of hand shake. Also the battery can be recharged while the Gimbal is in use simply by plugging the provided cable into the micro USB port. The cable also can be used when you need to upgrade the firmware on the gimbal to ensure up-to-date performance.

1/4-Inch Tripod Screw

With a standard camera 1/4-inch tripod screw available at the bottom of the Gimbal you can easily position it on a variety of tripods or Gorillapods for when you want to be in the shot or to combine the unit with a monopod for increased stability over long periods.
