The Sony E-mount 35mm f/1.8 OSS lens is a compact, fixed focal length lens which is equivalent to 52.5mm in 35mm equivalency. With a fast maximum aperture of f/1.8, it’s perfect for capturing fast-moving subjects and for crisp imaging in low light. A quiet linear motor and in-lens stepping motor provide smooth and virtually silent lens action, ideal for shooting video. Plus, Direct Manual Focus allows for fine manual focus control, even in autofocus mode. Sony’s built-in Optical Image Stabilisation system offers up to 4-stops of shake control, making this lens great for low light and tracking moving subjects.

Improved optics have reduced spherical aberration and provide uniform contrast across the sensor and sharp images even when shooting wide-open at f/1.8 aperture. The circular aperture helps to create smooth and circular bokeh.
