The SmallRig Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III / Alpha 7R IV 4148 allows for quick switching between horizontal and vertical modes without adjusting the lens’s optical axis. It securely locks the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw and anti-twist pin while maintaining full access to the LCD flip screen and ports. The built-in pads prevent scratches and twisting. The Arca-type / Manfrotto RC2-compatible plate rotates by 90 degrees, enabling quick mode changes. Additional 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes support accessories like Handle 2093C for added stability in handheld mode. The base plate is compatible with gimbals and can be used separately for versatile shooting setups. It features a hinge arm at the battery door for a comfortable grip, along with a strap slot, 1/4″-20 threaded hole for a wrist strap, and a quick-release plate. A magnetic double-head wrench is included for easy installation and release.
