The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit 4770 is designed to protect the Sony FX3 / FX30 and provide extensive accessory mounting options. This modular cage includes a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail attaches to the top with two 1/4″-20 screws and can be removed to allow for the original XLR top handle installation. The U-shaped cage is secured with 1/4″-20 screws on both sides and at the base to prevent twisting, with cushioning to prevent scratches. At the battery door, a hinge arm curves to fit the camera, enhancing grip comfort for the little finger. An HDMI cable clamp safeguards connections to maintain stable signal transmission. The cage also features SmallRig’s patented HawkLock quick-release system, covering the cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate, compatible with HawkLock eco-accessories like the Top Handle 4483, Side Handle 4485, and Arca-Swiss Clamp 4486 for efficient attachment and detachment. It also works with traditional cold shoe, NATO clamp, and Arca-Swiss clamp accessories. Additional mounting options include built-in 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, QD socket, and strap slots for items like Magic Arm 3873, Top Handle 2165C, Rod Clamp 3598, QD Shoulder Strap, Hand Strap 3848, and Shoulder Strap PSC2428. A magnetic wrench is included for convenient assembly and disassembly.
