The SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7 III / Alpha 7R III 2087D is designed to protect your camera and provide versatile accessory mounting options. It secures the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw and two M2.5 screws on each side, while built-in spacers prevent scratches. This cage ensures full access to all interfaces, dials, buttons, and battery doors, featuring a hinged arm at the battery compartment for a comfortable grip. Equipped with multiple 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts, it supports attachments like the Top Handle 3765, Side Handle 3260, and Monitor Mount 2903B, as well as microphones, LED lights, and monitors. The bottom QD socket accommodates a QD shoulder strap, while the Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the base is compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro, DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabiliser plates, and Arca-Swiss Quick Release Plate 3154. For additional protection, the optional HDMI Cable Clamp 3637 / 1679 prevents interface strain and ensures stable signal transmission. The cage also features attachment holes for accessories like the Hand Strap PAC2456 and Shoulder Strap PSC2428, and a built-in magnetic spanner for easy assembly and disassembly.
