The SmallRig Cage 4212 is designed to offer robust protection and versatile accessory mounting for your Canon EOS R8. It secures the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two side lock adapters, with rubber pads to prevent scratches while providing full access to buttons, card slots, flip screen, and battery door. The cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes, and ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes for mounting accessories such as the Top Handle 3765, Side Handle 2093C, Monitor Mount 2903B, and Magic Arm 3875. The top cold shoe mount accommodates the Microphone 3468 and LED Video Light 3286B, while the left NATO rail fits the Rotating Side Handle 3260 & 3813. A QD socket for a quick-release shoulder strap buckle is included, along with a bottom Arca-Swiss quick-release plate that supports Arca-type tripods or DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals for easy switching between handheld, gimbal, and tripod modes. A screwdriver is provided for simple assembly and disassembly.
