The SmallRig “Black Mamba” Cage 4975 is expertly designed to deliver robust protection and a wide range of mounting options for your Canon EOS R5 Mark II. It features a secure locking system with a bottom 1/4″-20 screw and two side locating blocks, along with built-in silicone pads to protect your camera from scratches. Staying true to the iconic “Black Mamba” style, this cage ensures full access to all camera buttons and interfaces while offering enhanced functionality.

The cage features multiple 1/4″-20 and ARRI 3/8″-16 threaded holes for attaching accessories like side handles (ID 2093, 4346), magic arms (ID 3874, 3875), monitor mounts (ID 2904B), Manfrotto baseplates (ID 1280, 2458), L-shaped mount plate kits (ID MD4360), and others. The top section features ARRI locating holes for expanding with such accessories as top handles (ID 3765), quick-release top handles (ID 4483), and monitor mounts (ID 2903B). Additionally, it incorporates a cold shoe mount for microphones and lighting accessories.

The cage features ordinary strap slots compatible with wrist straps (ID 3848, 2456), an innovative strap slot for downward hanging for extra lens protection, and a QD interface compatible with QD quick-release shoulder straps (ID 4118).

The Arca-Swiss quick-release baseplate allows for direct mounting on Arca-type tripods (ID 4060, 4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers, enabling swift transitions between stabiliser, handheld, and tripod setups. Moreover, the cage incorporates a magnetic dual head wrench at the bottom for easy assembly and disassembly.

The cage comes with a durable scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H and an IK03 impact resistance test rating.
