LAOWA’s first macro lens designed specifically for APS-C mirrorless cameras. Featuring a class-leading 2:1 magnification ratio, APO design, and a compact form factor, this lens is the ultimate tool for macro enthusiasts. Weighing just 0.335kg, it’s remarkably lightweight and versatile, making it an excellent match for APS-C cameras. The lens benefits from the shorter flange distance and smaller sensors on Fujifilm X and Sony E cameras, resulting in the most compact 2:1 macro lens available. The 65mm lens incorporates a 14-element in 10-group design, including 3 extra-low dispersion glass elements to minimise chromatic aberrations across the frame. Inheriting the APO design from the Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X macro lens, it effectively suppresses both lateral and longitudinal chromatic aberrations. With a maximum aperture of f/2.8, the lens performs well in various lighting conditions, while the minimum f/22 aperture provides a deeper depth of field for close-up subjects. This lens offers stunning detail, contrast, and sharpness from centre to corner, and its APO feature enhances overall clarity, contrast, and colour fidelity throughout the entire frame.
