Laowa 10mm T2.1 Zero-D Cine – MFT
The Laowa 10mm T2.1 Zero-D MFT Cine is the smallest and lightest lens in its range. With a 96° angle of view on the MFT sensor, it provides a wide and unique perspective. The “Zero-D” feature ensures high-quality images with minimal need for post-production editing. The 49mm filter thread allows for quick and easy filter attachment without adding extra weight. Ideal for establishing shots, FPV drones, vlogging, and more, it pairs perfectly with MFT cameras such as the BMPCC4K, GH6, and Zcam E2 M4.
The 11 elements in 7 groups optical design includes 2 pieces of ED glasses and 2 pieces of aspherical glasses that control the distortion and colour fringing to the minimum. The great quality design saves a lot of time of correction in post-production. It would be useful for interior, buildings, aerial shootings and more.
Its tiny size i.e. ~Ø5.6 x 4.7cm and lightweight i.e. 0.150kg is the conspicuous character of this lens since it is the smallest in the range. The Ø49mm filter thread allows filmmakers to screw the filters quickly and without too much extra weight. The size makes it handy to be filmed with gimbal and become the favorite of many drone pilots.
It comes with a weather-proof case for hassle-free transportation.
The closest focusing distance i.e. 12cm/ 5.90″ makes create stronger background bokeh effect. It is also useful when getting a close up on your subjects.
