The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL represents an evolutionary step for the Elinchrom lighting range. Now capable of TTL metering the ELB 500 TTL uses the flash exposure system of your compatible camera to determine the correct flash power required for the shot. Offering the convenience of auto metering with up to 10 times more power than a standard speedlight flash, the ELB500 TTL Kit works equally well on-location and in-studio.

Built-in TTL Exposure Control

The simplicity of TTL built-in delivers the convenience for photographers to concentrate on the subject, composition and framing of their shot. Eliminating the need to manually control the power output of the flash, TTL automatically adjusts the flash output to deliver the correct exposure. Perfect for moving subjects and environments where the light is constantly changing, TTL can dramatically speed up and simplify a photographers’ workflow.

An Ultra-Fast High-Speed Sync of 1/8000s when used with the Elinchrom Pro Transmitter (sold separately) will spark your artistic and creative imagination. Use it to freeze fast motion, add contrast and ambience or shoot with a wide-open aperture whilst maintaining perfect exposure.

Ultra-Fast 1/20000s Flash Duration

A ultra-fast recycling time of between 0.05 and 2 seconds is combined with a flash duration of 1/3400s in Normal mode or 1/20000s in Action mode to take your highspeed photography to the next level. Freeze water spray, splashes, explosions, collisions and create other unique effects with ease.

Wireless Skyport Receiver Built-in

The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL features a built-in Skyport Receiver, eliminating the need for cumbersome sync cables. Compatible with Elinchrom Transmitter PRO, Elincrhom Skyport Plus HS transmitters (firmware update required) and Phottix Odin II triggers, the ELB500 is perfectly equipped for simple single light scenarios and complex multi-light effects.

Asymmetrical Power Control

The ELB 500 TTL Control Unit offers the ability to add another flash head with full asymmetrical output for precise control of two flash heads.

All-in-One Ready To Shoot Kit

The To Go kit includes a ELB 500 TTL flash head, a compact and lightweight ELB 500 TTL battery pack, a battery charger, a 18cm reflector, a snappy carry case with shoulder strap, and a ProTec location bag. The battery is capable of delivering up to 400 full power flashes or 28000 minimum power flashes on a single charge for all-day shooting convenience.
