Canon Speedlite EL-5 Flash for EOS R

The new Canon EL-5 Speedlite sits below the 600EX II-RT and above the Canon 430EX III-RT flash units. This flash was designed to appeal to advanced amateurs, and it has enough flexibility to be useful when paired with a compatible R series body. The Canon EL-5 will initially work with the Canon EOS R6 II; however, a firmware update is required to support the EOS R3, EOS R7, and EOS R10 models.

Some of the stand-out functionality this Speedlite offers to include:

• Recharge time approx. 0.1 to 1.2 seconds.
• Approximately 95 or more continuous flash emissions.
• Approximately 350 times continuous flashes when using a fully charged LP-EL battery.
• Compact, ideal for long hours of handheld photography.
• AF-assist lighting with automatic illumination adjustment function and modelling lamp (LED).
• Dustproof and moisture-proof performance equivalent to that of EOS R5.
