The S-Series COB 60x S Bi-Colour LED Monolight

Amaran has expanded its LED moonlight line with the S-Series COB 60x S Bi-Colour LED Monolight, which features the same quality of light and compact, lightweight form as the previous COB 60x. This 65W fixture has been upgraded with a LED chipset design, providing a variable colour temperature of 2700-6500K and an ultra-high SSI score for improved colour reproduction. With the included mini hyper reflector, this point-source video light has an impressive output of 33,300 lux at 3.3′. Plus, it offers nine lighting effects to help you simulate different creative looks. This is an ideal lighting solution for content creators and videographers who need a portable and quiet light without compromising on image quality.

Adjustments can be made locally on the unit with an intuitive LCD screen or wirelessly from a distance of up to 262′ using your smartphone and the Sidus Link app. The 60x S offers extended power options and is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included 100 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on separately available NP-F or D-Tap batteries for situations when AC current is unavailable. Equipped with a full-size Bowens mount and a stand adapter with an umbrella holder, you get great compatibility with a wide array of light modifiers. A carry bag is supplied as well for storage and on-the-go productions.

Detailed Colour Fidelity System

The S series has improved spectral continuity to achieve the enhanced colour quality of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 90 and (D56) of 87, a 17.5% increase in SSI from its predecessor. Impressive ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, CQS 95, TM-30 Rf 96, and TM-30 Rg 100 are your assurance of a high degree of accuracy in colour reproduction at all times. Suitable for home studios or live stream setups, the significantly improved spectral quality of the 60x S will ensure accurate skin tone reproduction for your videos.

Powerful Output with Mini Hyper Reflector

The 60x S emits up to 2427 lux at a distance of 3.3′ at 5600K. When equipped with the included mini hyper reflector, the light’s output climbs to an impressive 33,300 lux. A soft diffusion cover is included for use with the reflector.

Preset Effects

The light has nine special effects, including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, explosion, and fire.

Compact and Versatile

The Amaran 60x S is as compact as a camera yet comes with full Bowen’s mount versatility. You can combine it with a large selection of optional modifiers, including the Light Box 45×45, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern.
